Dancing With the Stars, the popular television show that pairs celebrities in the entertainment, music and sports worlds with professional dancers for a ballroom dance competition, has announced dates for a national tour. Celebrities to appear include singer Lance Bass, actress Marlee Matlin, Grammy-award winning singer Toni Braxton and legendary NFL defensive tackle Maurice Greene. Both Bass and Greene were finalists in the show's seventh season which concluded last month.
They will be joined by a corps of professional dancers including Mark Ballas, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Derek Hough, Kym Johnson, Alec Mazo, Lacey Schwimmer, Edyta Sliwinska, Karina Smirnoff and Fabian Sanchez. The tour kicks off Wednesday, Dec. 17, at the Sports Arena in San Diego, Calif. and will visit 37 cities in North America. (See dates below.) Tickets on sale now at www.dancingwiththestarsontour.com
