America’s Best Dance Crew Rolls Out a Third Season

America’s Best Dance Crew returns to MTV tonight for a third season. Nine crews have been selected to compete and this time around the crews represent a broad range of dance styles from contortionists to hip-hop cloggers. (No kidding. The group, Dynamic Edition, has held the “Clogging Champions of America” title for seven years straight.)

Crews will battle it out for a $100,000 cash prize, a touring contract and the chance to turn their 15 minutes of fame into a lucrative marketing tool. Season One champs, Jabbawockeez, rolled their victory into a cavalcade of special appearances, a star turn in a Gatorade commercial that made its premiere during the Rose Bowl and their very own clothing line, “JBWKZ.”
