Sonoma Coast Dance Summer Intensive is a 5-week program held at the Journey Dance Company Studios in beautiful Northern California. Dancers (ages 10-22) are auditioned who possess a solid ballet foundation and versatility in all styles of dance. The Sonoma Coast Dance Summer intensive is an inspiring and challenging program that offers artistic expression and ground-breaking choreography. Classes include ballet, pointe, partnering, variations, men's class, modern, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, musical theater, tap, body conditioning, Pilates, injury prevention and nutrition. A final performance will be held at the Palace Of Fine Arts Theatre in San Francisco!
Faculty credits include: Pacific Northwest Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Complexions, Twyla Tharp/Billy Joel's Movin' Out, Broadway's 42nd Street, Fosse, Radio City Rockettes. Guest Artists include Rasta Thomas, Bad Boys of Dance and Drew Jacoby. Dancers MUST call to Pre-Register.
SCD also offers a Pre-Professional training program year round.
